Serving the society

Well a great topic which reminds me of my best friend who called me 3 days back for expressing his deep anger and frustration towards the schools and their functioning in context of a recent murder of seven year old kid who was murdered in bathroom just next to his classroom, though this case seemed trivial and everyday occurrence at first glance but it raises a bigger Question than that

“How can the Parents trust school for their child's proper development and expect them to be a good human being when even their security is so compromised?
My friend went On and On criticizing school, local authorities, bureaucracy, state government and then even the central government, I heard him very patiently and then asked him “Till now, Have you done anything to improve the Nation as a whole, just vaguely criticizing the system when you are not in it is very simple task but becoming the part of a system and attempting to clear this crap and improve the current situation is something which requires courage and is seldom found in people”
He replied me with a question that how can a common person improve the current degrading situation in our country?
My Reply:- 1) “If you really want to get directly involved in this benevolent work of serving society either Join the bureaucracy or the Politics because pragmatically speaking only at these levels we can expect some revolutionary policies to be formulated and then properly implemented on a large scale for masses as they possess both money and power, as in this particular case improving the current education system which is prevalent in our country requires a practical policies formulation and then intelligent implementation at grass root level in government schools which is possible only through the executive.
2) And if if you don't want to join either bureaucracy or politics and you are determined to work for masses open a NGOstart involving people in it and then gradually seeing it changing the lives of the people will be an eye treat for sure.
3) If you don't want to join politics, bureaucracy nor you want to open a NGO and you have to live your simple life but you have a feeling of changing the things all around you It will be best if you start the reforms from yourself and serve as a role model of society sometimes simply following simple rules motivates other people to do the same”.
In short, It's the noble cause that ultimately matters the way of doing it doesn't, one way or the other way can be better as it will be direct such as an IAS but it is not mandatory that you have to be in this service to give something to the society, Ultimately Your “Will” matters
